Essie - Turquoise & Caicos

So, I had to try REALLY hard not to swatch another purple today.  About 30% of my nail polish collection are different shades of purple. I can't help myself, I just love it.

This is Essie - Turquoise & Caicos from their Spring 2010 Resort collection, the same collection that Splash of Grenadine is from. Splash and Turquoise are two out of my three favorite Essie colors of all time. (My other is Play Date, a purple from this spring) I love the finish and formula of Essie polishes, though I see many bloggers don't like it. I find it really easy to apply and they dry very glossy, the only problem is that you need about 3 coats for the colors to be completely opaque. This color is still available at Walgreens and on TransDesign.

I used a matte top coat on my middle and ring finger and Seche Vite on the outside two. For some reason, I love a mattle top coat on these spring colors.

Essie - Turquoise & Caicos - Walgreens $8, TransDesign $4.
Orly - Matte Top - Sally Beauty Supply $7.49, $5.39 TransDesign.
In more news, it looks like China Glaze is coming out with another set of Neons this summer. These look like much better colors than their Poolside collection.
