China Glaze - Prism

This is my last swatch before I head to Toronto. I'll be there Monday afternoon and I have been swamped with getting last minute things, products I love that I'm afraid they won't have up there (I keep saying up there but Toronto is actually DOWN there from Minneapolis) OR if they DO have them up there, they are super expensive.

Some things I got to bring (I won't list everything)...

It's unfortunate that I can't bring Chili's (the Restaurant) because it is my favorite restaurant ever!
  • Matrix - Amplify Shampoo & Conditioner: I have extremely thin oily hair, this stuff is expensive but it keeps my hair clean for about a day and a half which is double what anything else does. It also helps with volume a lot!
  • L'Oreal True Match: Liquid foundation in W1, Concealer in W1-W3, Powder in W1 and Blush in C1-C2. I'm sure they have these up there, but their makeup is very expensive. I gagged at the prices at Shopper's Drug Mart. This is also the only line of makeup that matches my extremely pale skin. I wear the same color year-round because I cannot tan at all.
  • Famous Dave's: Rich & Sassy BBQ Sauce. This is the best BBQ sauce in the entire world and Canada does not have it. Not only do they not have it but Canadians tend to like their BBQ sauce sweet (almost like an Asian dipping sauce) than spicy (of which I like pretty mild... for the states).
  • Kirkland (Costco): 1Qt/1L of Real Maple Syrup. Although Canada is supposedly the Maple Syrup capital of the world... it's very expensive there. 1 Quart of Real Maple Syrup(at Costco) is about $12 (eventhough it's made in Canada). So, it's actually cheaper to buy Costco syrup and bring/ship it to Canada... than buy it there.

However, there are also Canadian things that I REALLY miss when I'm in the States.
  • My boyfriend and his wonderful family (of course).
  • Pizza Pizza: Panzerottis
  • PINK Cream Soda(Fanta is the best): It tastes completely different, like the Dum Dum suckers Cream Soda suckers)
How about you guys? If you travel, are there things you bring with you that you can't get elsewhere and can't live without? :)

So, goodbye for now! I will be back sometime next week. :)

Back on topic! This is China Glaze - Prism from the China Glaze Prismatic Glitters collection.
I would call this color a Periwinkle/Green base of microglitter with multi-colored circle glitter?
Yes, I meant for that question mark to be there... This is a lot of colors in one polish, it's awesome and unlike other CG Glitters, this is opaque in only two coats. This collection reminds me of Katy Perry, it's like Candyland and gum drops. That OPI collection isn't even as close to as Katy Perry as this collection is. As with most glitter polishes, I used Gelous as a first top coat and finished with Seche Vite.

Right now at Sally Beauty Supply (in my area at least, but I think it's everywhere) all nail polish, including special collections but excluding gel polish is buy 2 get 1 free.

Color:  China Glaze - Prism: $3.68 TransDesign, $7 Sally Beauty Supply, $8 Ulta.
Top Coat 1: American Classics - Gelous: $5.49 Sally Beauty Supply.
Top Coat: Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat: $8 Sally Beauty Supply, $10.
Base Coat: Orly - Bonder: $5.39 TransDesign, $7.49 Sally Beauty Supply & CVS.
