Misa - Let's Go Green

I'm a fan of lime green. I was waiting for TransDesign to get the China Glaze Neons in (they have them in now) to get I'm With The Lifeguard and they were taking too long for my liking. Misa polishes were buy two get one free at Trade Secrets(Canada) and I had never tried the brand before, so I thought I'd chance it.

Note: I'm almost positive Trade Secrets(Canada) and Trade Secret(USA) are different stores, but they sell the same stuff. /shrug

I wish I didn't. I haven't tried out the other two Misa polishes I got but I really really hope this was just a bad bottle. The formula was terrible, I had to let it dry completely before using Seche Vite or Seche would pull the color right off. The dry time was terrible, there was pulling and pooling. After messing up a few nails already during application... I had the polish on for like 20 mins? I went to remove the polish from a couple nails to try again and I noticed my nails were very badly stained (yellow). My nails are never unpainted, so it's not a big deal to me but I haven't had any other polishes do that to my nails. :(

I don't even think I can use the color, heh. It's a shame because it's really an amazing color.

Has anybody else tried this brand? or has anybody had as many problems with a polish as this one? I've seen it on TransDesign but none of their colors really caught my eye until I saw them in-store.

Misa - Let's Go Green: Indoors

  1. I have got Misa polishes, I think I've got 8 or 9 of them, and I've never experienced anything like you described. I only know them as good quality polishes.
I have reviewed four of my Misas on my blog in case you're interested. Just click the Misa tag on the right hand side of my blogpage :)

  2. Oooh love the intensity of this green!
