OPI - Into the Night

I am continuing to swatch my Spider-Man collection colors, and today I have a blue for you!
I don't have too much to say about this one, the formula and color are decent, the finish is kind of frosty so I had to use 3 coats to even out the streaks. :D
I really like this color but I can't help wishing it was a shade or two darker and brighter.

Color:  OPI - Into The Night: $9 Ulta/Trade Secret/Salons.
Top Coat: Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat: $8 Sally Beauty Supply, $10 Target.
Base Coat: Orly - Bonder: $5.39 TransDesign, $7.49 Sally Beauty Supply & CVS.

OPI - Shatter The Scales over Number One Nemesis

These two and Spotted the Lizard were my favorites out of the The Amazing Spider-Man collection.

In the photo and other photos I have seen on the net, Number One Nemesis looks like, a pretty standard metallic charcoal but it's actually much prettier than that and it looks amazing under Shatter The Scales. OPI seems to have improved their Crackle formula because this one wasn't thick and gloppy like the two I tried before that had to be thrown out after a couple months (black and silver, got China Glaze ones instead and had no problems).

Number One Nemesis seems to have a silver/gold micro-glitter in it and a tinge of green. It's really beautiful and apparently a dupe for Chanel - Graphite. :)

OPI - Just Spotted The Lizard

This is from OPI's The Amazing Spider-Man Collection that just recently came out. This is the color that I was most looking forward to! It's a dupe to Chanel's Peridot that I wanted. Peridot is my birthstone and it's always been pretty lame, not anymore! It's a gorgeous multi-chrome, it shifts from a green-gold to green to green-blue. The formula is streaky, so you have to make sure your last coat is straight strokes, but that is very typical for this finish of polish.  I'd say this is worth the $9 price tag, especially since Chanel - Peridot is $25. :)

Color:  OPI - Just Spotted The Lizard: $9 Ulta/Trade Secret/Salons.
Top Coat: Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat: $8 Sally Beauty Supply, $10 Target.
Base Coat: Orly - Bonder: $5.39 TransDesign, $7.49 Sally Beauty Supply & CVS.

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire over OPI - We'll Always Have Paris (Suede)

I have an exciting combo for you guys today!
In the FP pictures I was looking at the other day, I noted that sometimes Diva of Geneva looked purple, I then remembered what kind of purple it looked like...

It looked like OPI - We'll Always Have Paris (Suede) which is one of my favorite colors. I wish I had the whole Suede collection! I really loved them and wish I bought them all when they came out. I had Suzi Skiis in the Pyrenees (Suede) when they came out and managed to pick up We'll Always have Paris (Suede) and Ink (Suede) from a little nail place when I was in Toronto in October. I really want Lincoln Park After Dark and Here Today... Aragon Tomorrow. Maybe I will have to finally try ManGlaze to fill the Suede hole in my heart. :)

Update: It looks like my Rainbow Honey shipment got lost in the mail. :(
But! A new shipment will be on the way soon, when it hits my mother's house in the states, she'll be sending it to me in Toronto for the giveaway. I'm not going to start it until I have those in hand!

Misa - Girls Night Out

Here is another of the Misa polishes I picked out. I wasn't hopeful after Misa - Lets Go Green was such a disaster, but... this one wasn't anything like it.

I had 0 problems with this polish. It went on very smoothly, no pulling, pooling or streaks. It dried in a normal amount of time. Yay :D

Misa - Let's Go Green

I'm a fan of lime green. I was waiting for TransDesign to get the China Glaze Neons in (they have them in now) to get I'm With The Lifeguard and they were taking too long for my liking. Misa polishes were buy two get one free at Trade Secrets(Canada) and I had never tried the brand before, so I thought I'd chance it.

Note: I'm almost positive Trade Secrets(Canada) and Trade Secret(USA) are different stores, but they sell the same stuff. /shrug

I wish I didn't. I haven't tried out the other two Misa polishes I got but I really really hope this was just a bad bottle. The formula was terrible, I had to let it dry completely before using Seche Vite or Seche would pull the color right off. The dry time was terrible, there was pulling and pooling. After messing up a few nails already during application... I had the polish on for like 20 mins? I went to remove the polish from a couple nails to try again and I noticed my nails were very badly stained (yellow). My nails are never unpainted, so it's not a big deal to me but I haven't had any other polishes do that to my nails. :(

I don't even think I can use the color, heh. It's a shame because it's really an amazing color.

Has anybody else tried this brand? or has anybody had as many problems with a polish as this one? I've seen it on TransDesign but none of their colors really caught my eye until I saw them in-store.
