OPI - Sparkle-Icious

Here is a throwback polish! Today is more of a nail polish memorial swatch than a new shiny-swatch.

I keep carrying this polish with me back and forth from The States to Canada but I'm afraid this is the last time I can wear it because the truth is, this polish has been nearly unsusable for a couple years now. OPI - Sparkle-Icious is from the OPI Holiday 2010 collection and collaboration with the movie Burlesque.

My NPBFF bought me the glitter portion of this set and I didn't use it as much as I would have liked to because I didn't want to waste it, lol. This was my favorite by far but it was hell to revive. I think I squirted about half a bottle of polish thinner in it and it was very difficult to work with. The formula was great for glitters at the time (when it was new) but it's a bit of a step backwards from the nice, flat micro-glitters of today. I got this polish back when I was using a cheap little Kodak Easy Share camera so unfortunately, I don't think I have an old swatch of this but I wanted to make sure I could come up with a swatch before I laid it to rest and stopped trying to use it.

OPI - Sparkle-Icious was a beatiful gold, blue and magenta micro-glitter polish that was so blingly I instantly fell in love with it. The only problem that I ever had with this polish is that it has the OPI extra-wide brush which I absolutely hate.

Now, I can't tell you how many polishes I have had to swatch multiple times because I will take pictures, go on with my day, maybe mess up my nails or get some tip wear and go to the pictures to find a rogue cat hair. It seriously happens all the time, I swear when I check my nails before the photo I can't see any or maybe I'm just so used to having cat fur on everything I own that I'm blind to them now. Today I have a rogue cat hair and I will wear it proudly! Here is to you, OPI - Sparkle-Icious.
