Candy Lacquer - Bunny Dreams

I apologize because I have to take an unfortunate break from swatching Wing Dust polishes because... I ran out of them. :)

I think we will be okay though because I have a beautiful Candy Lacquer polish I got around Easter that I thought was perfect for the snowy weather. I swatched 2 thick coats of Candy Lacquer - Bunny Dreams over OPI - My Boyfriend Scales walls with a big thick coat of Nail Pattern Boldness - Glitter Food on top and finished with Essie - Matte About You. Bunny Dreams was a limited edition polish that was only stocked once, but, have no fear, Bunny Dreams II is available and is almost the same polish! I did not manually place any glitters because I was looking for a glitter bomb effect but there are white and purple hearts and pink, blue and purple stars in there that can be fished out with a toothpick and placed for a more subtle effect. Oh! There are crescent moon glitters too.  The Candy Lacquer shop is closed for the holidays but keep checking back because in my experience, it's usually not closed any more than a couple of weeks.

That all being said, I had a horrible time working with OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls and with literally every other white creme polish I've worked with. They seem to streak and leave bald spots. It took me 3 coats to cover all of the bald spots. I've tried OPI - Alpine Snow and Essie - Blanc and they all seem to do the same thing, has anybody found one that works well? I do prefer the off-white and grey-tint of MBFSW but I'll take anything at this point.

Wing Dust Collections - The Deep End

I apologize for my super laziness over the past week or so! I really have no excuse for it. :)

I even had this color swatched a couple days after the last WDC polish I posted... I have just been sleeping so much that I haven't posted. This is a gorgeous polish, it's base reminds me A LOT of Nars - Purple Rain and China Glaze - Let's Groove. But, it's much prettier than those because it has glitter on top of it. :)

Wing Dust Collections - I Ain't No Angel

This is a blue I like to think of as Tardis Blue! I believe it's from the Fall 2013 Collection but I am not sure! Unfortunately, the Seche Vite shrunk it away from my tips before I even got to take the photo. I hate when it does that! I keep meaning to try out Glisten & Glow's HK Girl Top Coat but I am broke since I am not allowed to work in Canada until I can become a permanent resident. I've gone 7 months without any personal income and it sucks! My husband is very generous of course and buys me stuff all the time but I really don't think I can ask him for anything else for a while or we will be eating nail polish for dinner. :) When I can work I will buy all the nail polishes, yayy! I only have half of a bottle of base coat though and I just cracked open my last bottle of Seche though so something will have to happen eventually, we shall see!

Wing Dust Collections - Glowing, Glowing, Gone!

Squee!

I am addicted to purple polishes. Today's Wing Dust polish is glow in the dark! Wooo! This is my first glow in the dark polish and I have no idea how to photograph it without a UV light, so sorry! It glows a faint blue/white in the dark! It's pretty distracting when you're trying to sleep, I just kept moving my nails around under the covers. I really don't know how Stephanie from Wing Dust Collections dreams up these color combinations but, if I ever have startup cash to start a nail polish line, I will be very intimidated. I have to try out a matte coat on top of every pastel because I love the look, so I have included that swatch as well. :D
