Cirque - Cerrillos

I know I haven't been blogging much lately but I just haven't had the motivation. I didn't know what was wrong until it warmed up and the snow melted and I felt better. So, hopefully I will be blogging more often again.

Amazingly, I recently won a giveaway. I won the Cirque Heritage collection on Instagram. Finally, all those giveaways I enter are starting to pay off. :P Needless to say, I was extremely excited. The prize shipped out the next day and I just got them today.

I had never tried Cirque before but I really wanted to. The price was a put off, they are $13 each. However, now that I have tried them I can safely say the quality definitely matches the price. It's hands down the best formula I have ever used. They formula is so smooth, the bottles are nice and thick, the brushes are perfect, they are opaque in two thin coats. I was surprised to find out they were lightly scented, I noticed that immediately after opening the bottle and I can still smell it a little bit even with a nice thick coat of G&G HK Girl on top.

I'm only going to swatch one color at a time though so I don't burn myself out on my first day back to blogging. However, I do have a little sneak peak of the whole collection on nail sticks.

First up is Cerrillos. I have been looking for the perfect teal holo and Cerrillos is it. I loved China Glaze - DV8 but it was a little less holographic than I would have liked. Cerrillos does not lack in the holo department, it is a very strong linear holo with rainbows that are visible even in your basic incadescent lighting. There seems to be a little bit of an extra gold shimmer in it too, which is lovely but I could be crazy.

Cirque - Cerrillos: $13 CirqueColors.com (available now), Nail Polish Canada (CA), Harlow & Co (CA), Femme Fatale Cosmetics (AU), Mei Mei's Signatures (SG) and others (check Cirquecolors.com for stockists worldwide).
